How sign-in works on this test box
In production this is single sign-on with multi-factor authentication. On this test box the system issues the session itself: pick a test account, then enter the one-time code. A signed-in admin reads live codes at Admin → Sign-in codes; after a fresh restart, whoever runs the box reads the first code from its system log.
Only rider (consumer) accounts self-register — ops, admin and council accounts come from a fixed, admin-managed registry.
